These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the RareTCG website, online store, products, content, features, and services. Throughout these Terms, “RareTCG,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to RareTCG.

RareTCG is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide our online store and related services.

By visiting our website, placing an order, creating an account, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and any other policies referenced on our website.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our website or services.

1. Eligibility and Account Use

By using our website or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your country, state, or region of residence, or that you are using the website with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Our Products

RareTCG sells trading card products and related accessories, which may include sealed products, singles, graded cards, collector items, and other trading card goods.

We make reasonable efforts to display product images, descriptions, prices, availability, and condition information accurately. However, product images may differ slightly from the actual product due to lighting, screen settings, packaging changes, supplier updates, or manufacturer variations.

For sealed trading card products, we do not guarantee specific pulls, card contents, grades, centering, print quality, or values inside sealed products. Trading card products may vary by manufacturer batch, region, language, print run, and packaging type.

Product descriptions, availability, and prices may change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or refuse sales where necessary.

3. Orders and Acceptance

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. Your order is not accepted until we confirm acceptance and process the order.

We reserve the right to accept, decline, cancel, or limit an order for reasons including but not limited to:

  • product unavailability;
  • pricing or product information errors;
  • suspected fraud or unauthorized activity;
  • payment issues;
  • shipping restrictions;
  • abuse of promotions, discounts, or quantity limits;
  • operational or stock management reasons.

If we cancel or change an order after payment has been taken, we will contact you and, where appropriate, issue a refund for the cancelled items.

Please review your order carefully before submitting it. We may not be able to change or cancel an order once it has started processing or has been dispatched.

4. Prices, Taxes, and Payment

Prices are shown on our website and may change without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time your order is placed, subject to correction of errors.

Unless stated otherwise, prices may exclude shipping, customs duties, import charges, handling fees, and taxes that may apply depending on your location.

You agree to provide accurate and complete payment information. By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

Payments are processed securely through Shopify and/or third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card details on our own systems.

5. Shipping, Delivery, and Collection

Delivery times shown on our website are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, incorrect customer information, failed delivery attempts, severe weather, strikes, public holidays, or events outside our reasonable control.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. If an order is delayed, returned, lost, or misdelivered due to incorrect or incomplete address information, we may not be responsible for additional costs.

If we offer local collection or “buy and collect,” you must collect your order according to the instructions provided at checkout or by email. We may require proof of order confirmation and identification before releasing a collected order.

Risk in the products passes to you when the order is delivered to the delivery address you provided or collected by you or your authorized representative.

6. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.

Some products may be excluded from return or cancellation where permitted by law, including opened sealed products, used items, customized items, digital goods, or products that cannot be returned for security, authenticity, hygiene, or tamper-prevention reasons.

This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

7. Product Condition, Authenticity, and Trading Card Disclaimer

We aim to sell authentic trading card products and to describe product condition accurately.

For raw single cards, condition descriptions are based on reasonable visual inspection and are not a guarantee of professional grading results. Minor differences in opinion may occur regarding centering, corners, edges, surface, print lines, whitening, scratches, or other condition factors.

For graded cards, the grade is assigned by the grading company shown on the product. We are not responsible for the grading company’s opinion, standards, label information, population data, or future changes in market value.

Trading card values can rise or fall. We do not provide financial, investment, or collecting advice, and we do not guarantee future product value, resale value, rarity, or market demand.

8. Promotions, Discounts, and Gift Cards

Promotions, discount codes, free shipping offers, bundles, and other offers may be subject to separate terms, expiry dates, product exclusions, usage limits, or minimum order values.

We may modify, suspend, or cancel promotions at any time where necessary.

Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be applied retroactively after an order has been placed unless we choose to do so at our discretion.

Gift cards, where available, are subject to any terms shown at purchase or required by applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, images, logos, design elements, layout, icons, product presentation, and other materials, is owned by RareTCG, our licensors, Shopify, or relevant third parties.

You may use the website for personal, lawful, non-commercial use only. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, scrape, republish, sell, exploit, or use any part of our website or content without our prior written permission.

All third-party trademarks, brand names, product names, logos, and intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners. Any references to trading card brands or products are for identification and product description purposes only.

10. Third-Party Tools and Links

Our website may include third-party tools, apps, payment services, shipping services, analytics services, social media features, or links to third-party websites.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, security, availability, policies, or practices of third-party websites or services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and may be subject to their own terms and policies.

11. Relationship with Shopify

Our store is powered by Shopify. Shopify provides the platform that enables us to sell products and provide our online store services.

However, purchases made through our store are made directly with RareTCG. Shopify is not responsible for the products you purchase from us, our order fulfillment, our customer service, or any issue arising from your transaction with RareTCG, except where Shopify is acting as a service provider according to its own terms and policies.

12. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information, including information processed through Shopify and other service providers.

13. Customer Reviews, Feedback, and Submissions

If you submit reviews, feedback, suggestions, photos, comments, or other content to us, you grant RareTCG a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, publish, display, modify, and distribute that content for business, marketing, customer service, website improvement, or promotional purposes.

You confirm that any content you submit is accurate, lawful, does not infringe third-party rights, and does not contain abusive, defamatory, obscene, misleading, or harmful material.

We may monitor, edit, remove, or refuse to publish customer content at our discretion.

14. Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions

Occasionally, information on our website may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, images, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, availability, or delivery times.

If your order is cancelled due to an error and payment has already been taken, we will issue a refund for the affected item or order.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any statutory rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RareTCG, Shopify, our service providers, affiliates, employees, contractors, and partners from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of our services, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your access to our website, account features, or services if we believe you have breached these Terms or used our services improperly.

Any provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, privacy, governing law, and payment obligations.
